Forth Valley Vets

Forth Valley Vets was established in 2014, but has a history stretching back to the 1920s. It began with Grahams Road Vet Clinic, Falkirk and between 1956 and 2014 was part of Struthers & Scott, Doune. It now has three branches in Alexandria, Perth and Stirling, with 12 vets covering a large area from Glasgow to Dunkeld, Linlithgow to Arrochar.
The expert Forth Valley Vets team cares for dairy and beef cattle, sheep, pigs and equine, with a small holding section for the likes of goats and alpacas, while the Stirling practice helps cover Blair Drummond Safari Park.
Forth Valley Vets offers 24-hour cover and a full out-of-hours service with everything a vet could need, including up-to-date equipment and technology to ensure the highest level of care for equine and farm animals. For farm animals, this includes health and fertility planning, general health assessments and regular farmer meetings. Equine care offers routine health checks, dentals, lameness work ups and equine workshops.
All Forth Valley Vets are dedicated to farming and equine veterinary care, with some coming from farming backgrounds themselves.
“Our staff are predominantly split into farm and equine vets to ensure clients receive the best service,” says Rhona Anderson from Forth Valley Vets. “The staff have a wealth of experience and knowledge, and solely focus on their specialised roles.”
The vets are always available for an informal chat to discuss particular requirements of clients or potential new clients.
